Hello and welcome to my blog! I’m Kristen Rapin, a thirty something year old gal currently living abroad in Hanoi Vietnam and navigating how to create the life of my dreams. My passions are street photography, slow travel, and writing true stories.

I created this blog in 2022 with the desire to share more of myself and my creativity with the world through my photos and writing. The idea first came to me a couple years prior to hitting publish after I had just gone through a tough break up and had no idea what was next for my life. As I sat on my moms couch desperately searching the internet for anything that would bring me a glimmer of hope, I discovered a female solo travel blog that basically changed my life in an instant. From that moment on I just couldn’t stop dreaming about traveling and writing no matter what I did. The faint whispers finally got loud enough for me to get this blog up and running and then it wasn’t too long after that I had the idea to move abroad and start creating the life of travel that I dreamed of.

On this blog you’ll find personal stories, photo essays, as well as travel tips and guides. Life is complex and far from easy and I hope that with this blog you will be able to find something that makes you feel understood, hopeful, entertained, and inspired to get out into the world and take in all the beauty there is to behold.
